We’re finally leaving seattle after a 3 month stay. It was kind of an experiment. We left tucson with no advanced planning whatsoever. Just hit the road. Along the way, if I knew I was going to be in, say, San Fran the next day, then I would log into priceline.com and try to get a nice hotel. But other than that, nothing was planned. When we got to Seattle, we checked into a hotel close to Sea Tac Airport, which had free high speed wireless internet, and we stayed there until we found an apartment. We used a company called Accommodations Plus, to furnish the place with furniture/dishes etc. We had to kill a week, while they did that, so we went up to Vancouver to wait.
We hope this trip will be the first of many. we are in the final throws of packing so I don’t have much time. I just want to resolve here and now, to enjoy this trip back and to NOT be thinking about any destinations (final or intermediate). I have to say that to myself over and over. Stop at places of interest, and enjoy the trip back! MELLOW OUT!
Doubt I’ll be posting blog entries on the trip back, but I may be Moblogging.
