New House?

A new house may be in our future. Q has been complaining for over a year about not having his own room. We are currently in a fairly small house (1400sf). When I bought it 2 years ago, my thinking was if it doesn’t work out, I could still rent it to a couple of retirees. It’s really meant for two people.

Here’s a house H and I have been discussing. She has misgivings about the pool and small children. I think it would be OK with a pool fence.

Another house I just saw today, is pretty neat and already has a pool fence. I took a couple of snaps of it’s backyard view on my moblog (on the left.)

For me, the most important part of the house is the backyard (as you can see from the pictures I’m taking.) It has to be spacious, facing east, and have a nice porch, for drinking beer at sunset.
