High intellegence? Well thanks, but I wish that were true(g).
You are right, I’m no better than the faithful when I say that I’m an atheist.
I called myself an agnostic for a long time, but a number of years ago, I decided to just be honest about the whole thing. I really don’t think anything is out there. So why should I sit on the fence and say “There could be something out there?” I don’t believe that, even though it’s indefensible, so I decided to label myself properly.
I have no interest in proselytizing my beliefs. If I did, then I guess I would be an agnostic. I also have no interest in running for public office. If I did, then I guess I would be SILENT about the whole thing.
I know this topic rubs people the wrong way, and I don’t intend to post on it anymore, because it’s a subject that really doesn’t interest me much. But I thought it was a good question and gives insight into who I am.
